What Armsmith does
Armsmith is an AI-assisted coat of arms design tool for creating original digital artwork. Choose a shield, colors, symbols, patterns, supporters, and a visual style, then describe the story or purpose behind your design. The generator uses those instructions to create an image that you can review, save in your private archive, and download.
You can start with the coat of arms maker or use the family crest maker to turn household values and a personal story into a creative brief. Review each result before using it: AI-generated artwork can interpret instructions imperfectly, introduce visual mistakes, or resemble existing designs.
Creative artwork and historical arms
Armsmith does not conduct genealogical research, certify ancestry, retrieve an inherited coat of arms, or grant official arms. Sharing a surname with someone who used a historical design does not establish your entitlement to that design. Formal heraldic rules and records depend on the relevant tradition and jurisdiction.
